Free usage period runs from 22h00-06h00 every night 7 nights a week! The time is based on the country location of your local Jola Partner. Any usage in this period does not count towards any billable data allowance. Each Jola customer can view the amount of free usage benefits on the Jola Customer Portal. Free usage and Burstable Downlink speed up of up to double the advertised speed from 22h00-06h00 daily. This double benefit service feature is available at a monthly service fee of 30% of your monthly service plan charge. The minimum commitment for this double benefit is only one billable month.

Remember, any night time feature is only available if you have an active data allowance.

Jola Advance

Jola Advance is a 1GB Emergency Credit being an advance on your following month’s data allowance. The service is only accessible to pre-registered customers who have registered their details on the Jola Customer Portal. When you run out of data allowance, you will only be able to access the Jola Customer Portal. Log-in and click on the Jola Advance button. Your account will automatically be credited with 1GB and you can resume your online activity immediately. We will send you and your local Jola Partner a notification when you utilise the service feature to remind you that next month you will have 1GB less to use! There is no service charge for this exclusive Jola customer feature  and you can access the benefit every month if you require it!

IP Addresses

The default IP address included with every Jola service plan is a private /27. A /30 public static IP address is available upon customer request as an alternative.  This service is currently a free service at the discretion of Jola and strictly upon customer request. Further public static /29 addresses are available for purchase and will be billed monthly. Please speak to your Jola Partner for further pricing and to submit your IP requests.

Jola Service Terms

All Jola Service Plans are subject to a minimum 12-month commitment with a calendar month’s notice thereafter. Please ask your local Jola Partner for all local Terms & Conditions.

All billing is on a calendar month’s basis with billing in advance.

The date of your initial Jola installation is your monthly anniversary date. This is the date that your data allowance is renewed every month. Note your billing cycle and data cycle may not be in sync.

With the exception of the Jola Exec business service plans, all Jola service plans are hard capped. This means you have a set data allowance allocated to your account for the month. Once you reach this cap, you will be unable to browse or continue any online activity until you purchase additional topup or activate your Jola Advance credit. Once you have reached your data allowance, you will be redirected to the Jola Customer Portal.

All Jola service plans are hard capped on a Use It or Lose It basis, being if you have any remaining credit at the time of your data anniversary renewal date, you will lose any remaining credit. Don’t worry, you have full visibility of your data usage at any time via the Jola Customer Portal so you are fully aware of the balance and time remaining. If you have registered your contact details on the Jola Customer Portal, we will also send you email reminders at key times.

Jola TopUps

Additional Jola service credits can be purchased as Jola TopUps in bundles of 1GB. As we have worked hard to bring you the lowest pricing available on the Jola service plans and TopUps, there is no penalty for out of bundle rates or for only buying 1GB vs 10GB. Each TopUp is valid for 60 days from date of purchase.

We understand you want to make that extra spend of every TopUp go as far as possible. That’s why Jola will always use your Monthly Data Allowance first. As each TopUp is valid for 60 days, you can carry any remaining TopUp balance into the next month for the time when you need additional credit next month!

Changing Service Plans

Each Jola customer has the ability to change their service plans within some basic rules.

  • All service plan upgrades will be effected immediately. Any additional service fees will be charged in arrears.
  • Any downgrades will be effected on your next data anniversary date. You can only request one downgrade every 60 days
  • At Jola, we understand that your usage requirements may change from time to time. Need to swap data allowance for more speed or make your data stretch that bit further? Switch between certain service plans in same category with no penalties. It’s Your Choice! All changes will be effected on your next data anniversary date.

The Jola Exec service plans are SOFT Capped meaning that once you have exceeded your monthly data allowance, speeds will reduce to 25% of the headline Download speed. Speeds will be increased again once additional TopUp credit has been allocated to the account or on the next monthly data anniversary date.

Standard Jola service terms apply to Jola Exec service plans.

The standard Jola Perk of Free Nights applies to all Jola Exec service plans. Sorry, but other Jola Perks and Jola Advance are not available on the Jola Exec range of service plans.

Every Jola customer is entitled to a private /27 IP address range as a default option. Any Jola customer can swap this for a public /30 IP address on request. There is no charge for either IP address range. Additional IP addresses such as /29 or /27 public IP addresses are available at an additional charge. Please enquire of your local Jola Partner for further information.

Jola SOS

Jola SOS is a single Back-Up Solution for those times when you need a helping hand in an emergency situation. Aimed specifically at businesses seeking 100% uptime, Jola SOS offers high-speed service availability with a small monthly data allowance to ensure you are always online when you need to be.

There is no activation charge for this service. You must however purchase the Jola Access Equipment and comply with regular Jola service terms.

Additional Jola SOS TopUp is available in increments of 1GB with 365 days’ validity from purchase. (Regular Jola TopUps are not applicable to this service plan).

We recommend you pre-purchase additional Jola SOS TopUp to be pre-loaded to your Jola SOS service plan so that you have the credit in place when you need it the most.

To help you manage usage of this balance, Jola will send your nominated business manager (as well as your local Jola Partner) email notifications for every 1GB usage of the Jola SOS balance. You must register on the Jola Customer Portal in order to enable this service notification.

This is a unique service offering and as such some standard Jola Perks are not available on Jola SOS including Free Night Usage or Double the Speed.
